Hmmmg thinking abt how Solange was objectified as soon as she was a teenager by most the rams she was around ( excluding family ) due to the fact she was one of the few sheep who could hypothetically carry kids since most either are too old and/or have been sterilized. ( before she lived with the farmer she lived with her aunt and cousins in what was considered a “ sheep sanctuary “ until it got raided and the sheep there died )

Then she was objectified and slowly groomed by the farmer who took her whos endgoal was to make her a subservient barefoot and pregnant housewife. He emotionally manipulated her, saying that she should be greatful she’s still even alive and that he could have left her to die but he didn’t.

When Solange finally spoke out and refused to marry him he either sold her out to he executed or kicked her out where she was eventually caught by heretics and executed.

It didn’t help that even outside of the farmer she was also objectified by some of the men there too ( they wanted to be the “ savior “ of the sheep race )

Now she’s objectified but in a different sense by being seen as a goddess/deity and while is less gross than being seen as a babymaker it still is incredibly dehumanizing to her ( despite not technically being mortal anymore ) especially because she never wanted to be one in the first place.

I have been and always will be a believer that if a baby carrier mod exists, the QSMP should have it but strictly for the eggs and maybe pets

Like the kids don’t have the walk, the parents just carry them around, maybe out of danger

I'm awful at finishing things so I'll post these now

AU; Metal (I think eventually renamed Nettle, she/her) joins Team Dark after Sonic Heroes and is 'rehabilitated' by doing crime that isn't murdering Sonic specifically. She operates as guy-in-the-chair/occasional field operative/co-manager of Rouge's casino/bouncer for Rouge's casino. She can still shapeshift; and goes between the 'working clothes' of Neo and the more compact form that takes less energy to maintain and doesn't have to bend/turn sideways to get through doors.

I think Rouge is hinting to her that she wants a 'guest' either escorted off the premises, or off the mortal coil. TD is definitely not Beyond A Spot Of Murder here, although to be fair it's usually kept to spies, fasc, and CEOs (so,, fasc) Obviously they don't work for GUN in this and they frequently come at odds with them. They're pretty well bankrolled for whatever operation they want to do between the casino, Metal's handiness with financial management (had to bankroll that massive fleet, after all,) profits from missions/hits, and Metal jailbreaking Eggman tech constantly for use or sale.

Still, they're decently nice folks for the most part. Rouge is kinda Team Mom, and has a real knack at soothing the savage (and autistic) beast/robot, mostly because nothing can phase her and her patience is saintly. She taught Omega her gardening hobby and they enjoy that time together. She encourages the 'hogs with their pet chao. She's aroace and a pallid bat to me :)

Your explanation of Tails' lack of chaos energy use may not be far off, in The Murder Of Sonic The Hedgehog, at one point there's a little moment where he sees a "Hang In There" poster with a Chao on it and is inspired by the inner strength of the Chao holding on instead of using its wings to fly

Oh how sweet! I need to play that dang game, I keep forgetting about it. I do my uni work on my PC so by the time I'm done I want away from my desk so I keep forgetting to stay seated and play it 😭 we love our little brother.

I think it's been very well showcased throughout Tails' career that he has the ability to fight hand to hand (mimicking Sonic's spindashing and later using his tails to attack in the Adventure series) but instead of going through any kind of training arc like Amy where he learns to be a better fighter, he invests his time in bettering his creations.

So I think it's a really nice part of Tails' character that he has the potential for chaos, but chooses not to use it. It's not his way and that's absolutely fine! It makes him unique in a way that you absolutely cannot take him out of the hero cast. He occupies a place in the team that cannot be filled by anyone else because there's no one else who shares the same speciality.

Heh, I like how curious younger challengers are 'bout the egg I'm carryin' around like a freakin' chansey.

They strut in actin' all tough an' ready ta battle me, but then as soon as they spot the egg, their eyes immediately light up. It's kinda cute...

An' yea, I let them look at the egg before or after the battle.

"Careful", you snag the boy's shirt before he can step into the road. The boy's head snaps away from his phone and towards you.

He looks pissed but you watch his face shift into a blank sort of stare.

"Sorry-", you release the grip on his shirt, shifting the carrier on your hip, "you should pay more attention when you're this close to the road."

You offer him a weak smile and he blinks up at you, then turns and scurries across the road, focused back onto his phone. Sighing, you adjust baby carrier and begin walking again.

The walk isn't a horrible one, ten minutes is nothing on the half hour walk it takes you to get to work. It's just a little more difficult with a awkward sized baby carrier.

Typically you'd take the train, but you need to get to the grocery store before it gets dark. The air is already chilly but the forecast calls for snow and the baby doesn't need that.

The store is a little warmer when you step inside and you even manage to snag a buggy.

The store is relatively quiet and you find what you need to...except for the box of baby rice towards the back on a shelf you can't reach.

You groan softly, glancing at the snoozing babe. She loves those...

You stand on your very tiptoes, grabbing at air. Then, a hand reaches up and grabs them. You turn, about to ask them for the box, when the man passes the box to you.

"Here, you looked like you needed help." He holds the box out with one hand, running his fingers through his black hair with the other.

You blink curiously at him, then take the box.

"Thank you so much, hon." You grin, placing the item in your cart and hurrying to check out.

The walk is still cold, despite the sun barely starting to set. You shiver, somehow managing to carry the groceries and the baby carrier at the same time.

About half a mile from your apartment, you bump into a chest. Dropping a few bags and praying the eggs aren't in them.

"Sorry about that", a masculine voice mumbles above you. You tilt your head up to meet the eyes of a boy a little younger than the one who helped you before. He tilts his head, a tuft of white hair hanging in his eyes.

"Would you like some help?" He starts grabbing the dropped bags before you can answer. He makes a gesture for you to lead the way.

"I'm Jason, by the way. We live in the same complex."

You swear you've never seen him before, but maybe that's just you.

That night, groceries put away and a baby snuggled happily against your chest, you lay in bed.

Oblivious to several pairs of eyes watching you and the bickering from the rooftops above.

"Ummi spoke to me today, with the baby!" Damian speaks.

"Yeah, well I helped ma with her groceries!" Jason gives him a playful shove.

"Well, the baby smiled at me!" Dick jabs a thumb at his chest triumphantly.

"All of you hush!" Tim speaks up, crouched next to Duke, eyes focused on a familiar window.

Bruce looms nearby, caught up his daydream where he's the sweater wrapped so tightly around you. Someday.

Someday sooner than you think.
